There is something special about getting out of the city, picking up a racquet, and spending a weekend surrounded by tennis, nature, great food, and even better company. Saturday's drill and play brought together something special: players who've been with Rainbow Rackets since our founding in 2024 sharing the court with brand new faces trying us out for the first time. Seeing longtime members rally alongside first-timers — trading tips, cheering good shots, and just enjoying the game together — was a great reminder of why we started this in the first place. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a fun afternoon!

We are much more than rackets. We are about building community across the LGBTQIA community and allies. Last night marked a first for Rainbow Rackets as we hosted our first women's event in collaboration with Shawn Cowls of Queer Princeton Alumni at The Dickens in NYC. So proud of our team and our mission to make tennis accessible to all.

During Pride month, Rainbow Rackets participants enjoyed off-court fun with a relaxing day of sun and great conversation. We are looking forward to our next social on July 31 where we will be singing our hearts out during Karaoke Night. Sign up can be found in our events page.
